One way is through customer satisfaction surveys.
Another option is the customer exit survey, which collects data from customers who have just left your business and can provide valuable insights into what they didn't like about it. This is one of the instrumental sources of information for
any successful customer retention strategy.
There's also the net promoter score, which measures customer loyalty and how likely they would be to recommend your business to others.
In this article, I'm going to show you how all these customer feedback surveys can be easily used to get customer feedback online.
There are several customer survey templates available for free including
customer satisfaction,
client exit survey, and
net promoter score (NPS).
You can use either of these to collect customer feedback without asking a customer anything.
How to get customer feedback without asking a customer
Survey platforms like Typeform and SurveySparrow allow you automatically collect customer feedback in one of these 4 ways.
But before we proceed, I'd like to mention that both of these platforms have free plans. You can try them before committing to a monthly subscription, or continue using a survey platform for free.
1. Email surveys
Delivery of customer feedback surveys over email is very straightforward. You can set up an email template with a survey and send it to all of your customer's emails.
Both
SurveySparrow and
Typeform allow you to do that.
Although, I have found that SurveySparrow is a little bit more user-friendly as it has a built-in email sender.
The only thing you need to do is to upload an email list of your customers.
Another useful feature, that I suggest using is a reminder email.
You can set up an automated follow-up email to remind your customer to share their thoughts on your service.
Isn't it cool?
You can get
up to 30% more survey submissions thanks to that feature.
With Typeform you need to use 3rd party email marketing tool to deliver a survey to your customers.
2. SMS surveys
If you want customer feedback surveys that are delivered by SMS, then
SurveySparrow can be helpful.
It allows you to send SMS with a survey to all customers you have in your contact list.
Typeform doesn't provide an SMS survey feature.
Nevertheless, you can copy and paste a short link to your survey and send it out using your SMS automation platform.
3. Online chatbot
Online chatbots are an excellent option if you have a members area.
Both Typeform and SurveySparrow support online chat layout.
This feature can be easily found in the sharing settings of a survey.
Although, you can use this feature only for Net Promoter Score and Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Client exit survey won't perform very well in form of online chat.
4. Website pop-ups
Another option to collect customer feedback online is to embed a survey into your website.
This can be done easily with both Typeform and SurveySparrow.
You can embed both of these platforms without a need to write a code (only copy & paste).
So there you go, I have just shown how customer feedback surveys can be used to collect customer feedback online in a few easy ways.
All of the above-mentioned options require very little involvement from you and can be easily done without asking a customer anything.
You can choose either
Typeform or
SurveySparrow or something else if you don't like these platforms.
Here you can find more tools that can help you to measure customer satisfaction.
Although, my personal preference is Surveysparrow due to its user-friendly interface and tons of really cool features that simplify feedback collection.
Good luck with your customer feedback surveys!
